What we work on
We focus on feet, ankles, calves and thighs: the area that suffers most when you walk a lot, hike, run, or simply spend the day on your feet. We combine firm pressure on the soles with calf kneading and gentle leg stretches.
The favourite after the Sagrada Família
It's one of the most requested massages in the afternoons: many people come straight over after visiting the Sagrada Família or a full day exploring the Eixample on foot. If you've walked more than usual, this is the most rewarding session, even with just 30 minutes.
Who it's for
For travellers with tired legs from sightseeing, for anyone who runs or trains and wants to unwind after a workout, and for anyone on their feet all day for work. If what you're feeling is more puffiness than muscle load, lymphatic drainage might suit you better; our 1-minute test can help you decide.
Why Mantra
A small, calm studio by the Sagrada Família, with 4.9 stars and over 370 reviews on Google. Open every day 11:00 to 22:00, so you can come straight after your visit, no need to stop by the hotel first.
Tips if you've been sightseeing
If you've been walking all day, bring flip-flops or a spare pair of shoes for the walk back: after your soles are properly worked, many people would rather not squeeze straight back into the same footwear. There's nothing to take off other than shoes and socks — you can come exactly as you are, straight off the street. If you have blisters or chafing, tell us before we start so we can work around that spot. Afterwards, many people find they can carry on with the day feeling much lighter on their feet, ideal if you've still got more of Barcelona to see.
Who it's for, and who it isn't
It's perfect for legs tired from walking, running or standing, but if you have a recent ankle or knee injury, an unhealed fracture, or an open wound on your foot, tell us before we start: we can avoid that area or discuss whether it's better to wait. If you have significant varicose veins or a vascular condition, check with your doctor first. It's not a podiatry treatment and doesn't replace a professional assessment if the pain is persistent or goes beyond normal muscle load.
How it's different from lymphatic drainage
This session works with firm pressure on the soles, calves and thighs, with real kneading of the muscle: it's the option when you're feeling muscle load and tiredness. Lymphatic drainage is much gentler, almost no pressure, aimed more at puffiness than at loaded muscles. If you've walked a lot and your legs feel hard, this is the session; if what you're feeling is more heaviness or puffiness with no muscle pain, drainage might suit you better.
How often to come back
If you run or train regularly, many people use it as part of their recovery routine every one or two weeks. For tourists it's usually a one-off, on the day you've walked the most. We're very close to the Sagrada Família, so it's easy to finish your visit and come straight over; open every day 11:00 to 22:00.
